How To Reach Kannur

School of Information Science and Technology is situated in the Magattuparamba campus of Kannur University in Kannur District. It is about 17 Kilometers towards north of Kannur town (NH17 Betwen Kannur and Payyannur). One has to get down at Dharmasala which is 1.2 km from the Campus. Kannapuram railway station is about 8kms from the campus. Kannur is easily accessible from anywhere in Kerala as well as India.

Many private and KSRTC buses run between Mangalore and Kannur (via Kasaragod).
From Kozhikode bus stand you will get buses to Kannur (Both private and KSRTC).

From Chennnai:

    There are two trains from Chennai connecting Kannur.
        1.Chennai-Mangalore mail and
        2.West-Coast Express.

    There are trains via Coimbatore to Mangalore
        1.Trichi-Mangalore Express (Link Express)
        2.Coimbatore-Kannur-Mangalore Fast Passenger.

  From Bangalore:

    Private Travel Agencies provide Deluxe Bus service to Kannur from    Bangalore. Some of them are providing sleeper and others semi-    sleeper coaches.
    Name of some Agencies are:
    PK Travels
    Ashoka Travels
    Kalpaka Travels
    Oasis Travels
    Sagar Travels Etc.
    All these buses start from Kalasipalayam, Bangalore. You can book in advance.
    KSRTC (both Kerala and Karnataka) buses are also servicing
    between Bangalore and Kannur.

From Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Ernakulam and Trissur (Trichur).
